El Jarama (Sánchez Perioso)
It tells the story of a summer Sunday to the banks of the river that gives its name to him during sixteen hours. Eleven friends from Madrid decide to spend a hot August Sunday on the banks of the Jarama. For sixteen hours, the baths, the stings caused by the sun, the paellas, and the resentment of the time that flees, making the threat of Monday imminent. At the end of the day, an unexpected event fills the day with deep poetry and endows the novel with a strange grandeur.
Opinion:
The relationship of this novel rivers and deltas, is that the whole story happens near the river.
