THE 4 LANGEST DELTAS OF THE WORLD
I have chosen some deltas that I liked. According to the information I have read they are important. I will teach you and I will tell you some caracteristics.
OKAVANGO'S DELTA
The Okavango delta is in Botswana. It flows in a river. This happens between two geological faults. This overflows and absorbs the Kalahari desert.
NÍGER'S DELTA
The Niger Delta is in Nigeria and has been characterized for years as a major producer of palm oil.
NILE'S DELTA
The Nile delta is in Egipt. It is the biggest and the most famous of the world. It flows in the Mediterranean sea.
EBRE'S DELTA
The Ebre Delta is in Spain. It is the second most important of Europe and has been a natural park since1983.
MY CONCUSION
My conclusion is that if the river has much flow, the delta will be bigger. Also, the surrounding area will be more fertile, like the surrounding of Nile Delta and the Ebre Delta rice fields.
